Then welcome to our world!

All our products are designed in our downtown Montreal workshop. 

For the manufacture of our paper collection, we always give preference to local suppliers with whom we like to collaborate. Our stationery is printed on 100% recycled paper by small family-run businesses and delivered directly to our studio. Sales, packaging and distribution are handled from here. 

The same goes for our bags. Although part of the production is in-house, independent hands take over when orders are larger.

Our history

Business partners for several years, Diane Parenteau, graphic designer and product designer, and Arto Dokouzian, designer, photographer and illustrator, founded COUPLE D'IDÉES in 2010 with a creative stationery product designed to stimulate handwriting. A great success with museum and design stores in Canada and the United States. 

Then, in 2011, our Papier Collection caught the eye of Colette in Paris, a cult boutique on Boulevard Saint-Honoré, followed by Le Bon Marché, Paris's leading department store... and off to Europe!

The Travel Light! Collection was born in 2015, with its ultra-lightweight, water-resistant, foldable bags and small accessories.
